Thanks for stopping by! My name is Paul Lourd, a long time resident of WIlton, CT. I have been interested in technology and "how things work" since a young age.

I have spent my entire career in technology, starting as a lowly entry level programmer and ended up heading the technology group at a $2 bilion consumer products company.

My formal training is in Engineering and Business (Cornell BS/IE and MBA) and this gives me a wider perspective on how technology helps businesses and individuals. If you have ever worked with a tech geek from a big box store, you know how frustrating it can be when someone cannot speak in terms that make sense to you and your situation.
